Everyone leads the same case at the same time, each at their own pace. One player shows a QR code, the others scan it, and off you go.
One player opens an episode and creates the game
Their screen shows a QR code, ready to be scanned by the other players.
Everyone scans and joins
The players scan, allow their location and unlock the investigation on their device.
Same investigation, each their own path
Everyone starts on the same case and explores the town their own way, at their own pace.
One player opens an episode, then creates a multiplayer game. Their screen shows a QR code (or a link) that the others scan to join in seconds, with nothing to install. Everyone starts the same case, but each person picks their own route, the order of the clues and the characters they question, so two players who set off from the same spot sometimes end up with very different theories. From 2 to 20 players per game, each on their own phone, and a preparation link sent ahead avoids waiting on site.
The multiplayer mode really shines as soon as there is a bit of a competitive spirit in the group. With family or with friends, it is that little challenge that makes you want to see it through.
With family
Teens and adults on an equal footing, nobody is just a spectator.
An outing that gets everyone walking without feeling like a chore.
Kids love being the ones who spot the clue before the grown-ups.
With friends
A weekend or a city break that takes on a livelier turn.
The friendly rivalry that keeps the conversation going over dinner in the evening.
Everyone plays on their own phone, no need to crowd around a single screen.
At the end of each investigation, a ranking sorts the players: the first to unmask the right culprit wins.
The goal: unmask the right culprit before the others.
A podium at the finish, with points for each player.
Play through several investigations and an overall ranking builds up, your own little championship.
Pick a town, bring your players together and see who has the sharpest eye. Take your time, the first round is often enough to make you want a second one.
