Jack & Mani can be added to your home screen to launch in full screen, like a real app, without going through a store.

On Android

1. Follow the prompt

   • A banner "Install the game on your phone" may appear: tap "Install".

2. Or from the browser menu

   • Open the Chrome menu (⋮ icon) and choose "Add to home screen" or "Install app".

On iPhone (iOS)

1. Via the Safari Share button
   • Open the game in Safari.
   • Tap the Share button (the square with an upward arrow).
   • Choose "Add to Home Screen".

Once installed, the game launches with a simple tap on its icon, in full screen. An internet connection is still needed to play.

No, the web version requires no download from a store.

1. Everything happens in the browser

   • You launch Jack & Mani directly from your browser (Chrome, Safari...).
   • No store account, no heavy installation.

2. Optional installation

   • If you wish, you can add the game to your home screen to access it faster (see "How do I install Jack & Mani on my phone?").
   • It is just a shortcut icon, not a standard download.

So you can start playing right away, with no installation step.

An internet connection is needed to play, even after adding the game to your home screen.

1. Why

   • The connection is used to load the investigations, bring the dialogues with the characters to life and, outdoors, to track your location and display the map.

2. Outdoors

   • A standard mobile connection is more than enough.
   • If the network weakens, the display may pause for a few moments, then resumes as soon as the signal comes back.

The game does not yet offer an offline mode.

Jack & Mani is played in a web browser, on most recent devices.

1. Recommended browser

   • For the best compatibility with all features (sound, location tracking, payment...), Google Chrome is strongly recommended, particularly on Android.
   • On iPhone, Safari is the recommended browser (in particular to add the game to the home screen).

2. To avoid

   • In-app browsers built into other apps (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger...) sometimes limit sign in and account creation.
   • Open the game in a regular browser instead.

3. An experience designed for mobile

   • The game is designed to be played phone in hand, especially the outdoor investigations.
