• Ask your own questions freely or rely on the current leads to uncover alibis, connections, and feelings.
• Some characters are talkative, others more secretive. Press on if needed or change your approach.

Identify all suspects, witnesses, and contacts

• Spot all the protagonists as the conversations unfold.
• Ask who was present and who saw what.
• Cross-check the accounts whenever you can.

Look for and gather clues

• Every conversation may reveal an important clue.
• Examine the items of interest in the images when they are available.
• Note suspicious details, even the most trivial ones.

Follow your case notebook

• The investigation notebook lists the tasks to carry out to move the case forward.
• The clues already collected are also available there at any time.
• Confront the characters with what you find.

Prepare your accusation

• When you think you have figured it all out, name the culprit, the weapon, and the motive.
• You can always go back and talk to the characters if you have any doubts.

Confirm your accusation

• Confirm your verdict in the game.
• If you got it right, well done. Otherwise, the accusation is rejected and you can try again to uncover all the secrets.

• Analyze the known facts, the timeline, and the relationships between the characters.

• Start the conversation with open questions.
