1. Sign in to an account

   • Outdoor investigations require an account (free) to track your progress in the field, even for the free investigation.
   • You sign in from the profile icon at the top right.

2. Allow location

   • On the investigation page, tap "Enable location tracking" and choose "Allow".
   • Without this permission, the location-based trail cannot start. If GPS does not respond, the dedicated question further down helps you reactivate it.

3. Confirm your trail

   • The game generates a trail around your location and shows you a preview of it (distance, duration, elevation gain).
   • Tap "Regenerate" to get another one, or "Confirm" to start the investigation.

4. Set off

   • Follow the map and head toward the points of interest that appear around you.
   • The investigation unfolds as you move along.

Just remember good shoes and a charged battery, and the adventure can begin.
